India Bullion & Jewellers Association (IBJA) has appointed Mr. Amit Modak as first President of its Pune & Region board committee. Before creating a separate division within the state, IBJA was following the state board method. But, in last few decades the Pune market has shown continuous growth and considering the potential of the Pune, IBJA have decided to form a new board as Pune & Region. Mr. Modak is a member of IBJA’s state board and he is also a member of MCX’s Product Advisory committee. Mr. Modak has more than 30 years of experience in Financial & Capital market as well as more than 15 years of experience in Commodity market.
आयबीजेएच्या पुणे व विभागाच्या पहिल्या अध्यक्षपदी अमित मोडक

इंडिया बुलियन अँड ज्वेलर असोसिएशन (आयबीजेए) या सोने व्यवसायाशी संबंधित प्रतिष्ठित संस्थेच्या पुणे व विभागाच्या संचालक मंडळाच्या पहिल्या अध्यक्षपदी श्री. अमित मोडक यांची नियुक्ती झाली आहे. आतापर्यंत आयबीजेए राज्यानुसार संचालक मंडळ नियुक्त करीत होते. पण, पुण्याचे व्यापारी महत्त्व लक्षात घेऊन पहिल्यांदाच पुणे व विभागासाठी स्वतंत्र संचालक मंडळ नियुक्त करण्याचा निर्णय आयबीजेतर्फे घेण्यात आला. श्री. मोडक हे कमॉडिटी तज्ज्ञ व पु. ना. गाडगीळ आणि सन्स लि.चे संचालक-सीईओ आहेत. गेल्या वर्षभरापासून श्री. मोडक आयबीजेएचे महाराष्ट्र राज्य संचालक मंडळाचे सदस्यही आहेत. तसेच, ते एमसीएक्सच्या प्रॉडक्ट अडव्हाजरी कमिटीचे सदस्य आहेत. श्री. मोडक यांना भांडवली व वित्तीय बाजारपेठेचा 30 वर्षांहून अधिक तसेच, कमॉडिटी क्षेत्राचा 15 वर्षांहून अधिक काळाचा अनुभव आहे.
